National Pool Lifeguard Qualification

The Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS)'s NPLQ is the most awarded lifeguard qualification in the UK and Ireland and is internationally recognised.
95% of all UK Pool Lifeguards are NPLQ trained
It is a Level 3 qualification and regulated by Ofqual.
Swim England Level 1 Swim Teaching

Swim England Level 2 Swim Teaching

First Aid At Work (FAW)

The Level 3 First Aid at Work Qualification covers a wide range of CPR and first aid skills, equipping the first-aider to apply first aid to a range of specific injuries and illnesses.
This three-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills, providing you with the skills to ensure a safe working environment.
The qualification is Ofqual accredited making it suitable for all industries and enabling you to meet HSE requirements.
Open Water Lifeguard (OWL)

The Open Water Lifeguard (OWL) Qualification was developed by the Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) to address the role of open water lifeguards and the needs of open water operators.
The OWL qualification can be used to supervise and provide rescue cover for planned, organised and risk assessed activities in still, non-tidal water.
National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches Light

NRASTC is a supervision and rescue award for swimming teachers, coaches and (or) instructors working during programmed activities, such as swimming lessons. It is suitable for teachers working in a wide range of swimming pools where the water depth is higher than the teachers’ standing depth and meets the individual facility’s Risk Assessment.
